Through housing, mentorship, employment support, and relational discipleship, we help men break cycles of incarceration and build lives of hope, purpose, and contribution.

Prison does not change lives. Jesus does.
That is why ministry during and after release is essential. Men need faith, but they also need education, job training, counseling, and recovery support. With Christ at the center and real opportunities to succeed, lives are transformed, families are restored, and communities are made stronger.

Recently, One of our Knoxville Students, Rico Lyons, shared his gifts at Unity On The Bridge Recovery Fest: Chattanooga, Tennessee A living example of what it means to let God’s light shine through a transformed life. Recovery isn’t just about leaving the old behind, it’s about stepping boldly into the new and reflecting His goodness.

One of the greatest joys we get to witness is the impact of transformation not just on our students, but on their families. We love seeing the joy on the faces of our men’s mothers when their sons successfully complete our program.
Today we celebrate Clarence, whose journey of faith and perseverance has been a testimony to God’s power at work. His success is a blessing not only to him but also to those who love and support him most.

Every story of transformation is marked by gratitude. Gratitude for freedom, for second chances, and for the people who walk beside us. Staff Mentor Tony Stewart recently experienced this firsthand with one of his mentees.
“My last mentee spent several years incarcerated, so it was very rewarding to me to see how grateful he is for his freedom. Also very rewarding to see how he appreciated me just spending time with him. Probably the most satisfying thing was when he started telling me he loved me first, without me initiating the exchange!”
This is the heart of discipleship: men experiencing freedom, hope, and genuine brotherhood.
