Discipleship Academies
Residential Discipleship Academy Campuses
At Men of Valor, we believe real reentry goes well beyond stepping out of prison. The first year after release is critical, and without the right foundation, many men fall back into survival mode, isolation, or destructive cycles. That’s why we built something different.
Our Residential Discipleship Academies are more than transitional housing—they are Christ-centered, community-driven programs that offer men one full year of structure, support, and brotherhood. Every campus is designed to meet practical needs while restoring dignity, identity, and purpose.

Nashville Campus – Valor Ridge
Our flagship campus in Nashville, warmingly known as “The Ridge”, is the heart of Men of Valor. Spread across 15+ peaceful acres, this property houses up to 93 men in beautifully constructed townhomes and duplexes, providing not just shelter, but a safe, dignified space to rebuild their lives.
The campus includes a fully functioning vegetable garden, developed in partnership with Cul2Vate, where men gain workforce training, grow fresh produce, and find healing in meaningful work. Beautiful walking trails, green space, and shared gathering areas create opportunities for stillness, reflection, and real brotherhood
Here, men begin their journey of restoration through daily discipleship, job preparation, accountability, and community. With support from our dedicated staff, volunteers, and mentors, each man is equipped to transition back into society not just as a free man, but as a leader, father, and builder of a new legacy.
* In 2026, we will open our brand new Workforce Development & Community Center. A state-of-the-art hub equipping men with the skills, training, and support needed for long-term success. At its core, the center provides job readiness classes, digital training, and direct pathways to employment, ensuring men are prepared to thrive in today’s workforce. However, this center offers more than just training; it also features modern classrooms, a beautiful amphitheater for worship, state-of-the-art fitness equipment for physical health, and counseling offices for emotional and spiritual well-being. This is more than a facility; it’s a launching pad for restored purpose, sustainable independence, and lives rebuilt on a solid foundation.

Knoxville Campus – Valor Way
In East Tennessee, that same model is now thriving in our Knoxville campus—a beautifully restored, historic property known as the Dogan-Gaither Flats. Once left behind, this building now stands as a symbol of renewal.
The Knoxville campus houses up to 30 men and brings the full Men of Valor reentry experience to a new region, offering daily structure, biblical discipleship, mentorship, job coaching, and community integration in a space filled with dignity and purpose.
Set in the heart of Knoxville, this location provides access to local partnerships, church support, and service opportunities that help each man reintegrate into his community with confidence and faith. Just like our Nashville campus, the goal here is not short-term recovery, but long-term transformation.
