These Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the SMS/text message program (“MOV Text Alerts”) offered by Men of Valor (“MOV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (https://men-of-valor.org/privacy-policy). Please read them carefully.
1. Program Description
Men of Valor offers a mobile messaging program that allows subscribers to receive:
– Updates on events, programs, and initiatives
– Volunteer opportunities
– Encouragement, devotionals, and community resources
– Donation opportunities and fundraising campaigns
Messages may be sent via SMS, MMS, or other electronic means.
2. Consent & Enrollment
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring text messages from MOV. Consent is not a condition of volunteering, employment, or making a donation.
You may opt in by:

– Signing up in person at an MOV event
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary but will generally be 2–4 messages per month. Frequency may increase during special events or campaigns.
4. Cost & Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply to any messages sent or received. MOV is not responsible for any charges you may incur.
5. Opting Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After texting STOP, you will receive one additional message confirming your opt-out.

8. Eligibility
– You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
– By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have the account holder’s permission.
9. Carriers & Delivery
– Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
– Availability and quality of service may vary by carrier and device.
10. Changes to Terms
MOV may revise, suspend, or terminate the Mobile Messaging program or these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and will apply upon posting.
