Our Work
Men of Valor is committed to seeing men restored—spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Our work spans across five key areas that walk with men from incarceration to lifelong transformation.
These are the FIVE pillars of service we provide
Behind the Walls
Our work begins behind bars, where real transformation takes root.
We disciple men through biblical truth, authentic relationships, and consistent presence.
- Weekly Bible-based classes and small groups
- Trauma-informed teaching and personal accountability
- Chaplaincy and pastoral care presence inside facilities
- Pathway to aftercare through intentional discipleship
- Providing support for staff to promote a healthy environment
Reentry & Aftercare
We operate one of the most holistic reentry programs in the country.
Men who complete our in-prison/jail track can apply to live in our transitional housing and join our 12-month aftercare process.
- Safe, structured housing and daily accountability
- Job placement, resume coaching, and workforce readiness
- Ongoing mentorship and weekly discipleship groups
- Budgeting, life skills, and emotional health support
- Substance recovery, clinical counseling, and community reintegration tools
Family Support
We believe restoration includes the whole family.
We help men become faithful fathers, present partners, and spiritual leaders at home.
- Care packages for children and loved ones
- Family-focused community events and holiday support
- Parenting support and fatherhood training
- Biblical guidance on reconciliation and restoration
- Opportunities for family healing and connection
Advocacy
We speak up for those the world often overlooks.
Through education, partnerships, and public presence, we help change the story around incarceration and second chances.
- Partnerships with local leaders and lawmakers
- Education on criminal justice reform and reintegration
- Opportunities to share testimonies in public spaces
- Dignity-centered storytelling and awareness campaigns
- Promoting policies that reduce recidivism and restore lives
Community Engagement
Restored men don’t just rebuild their lives—they rebuild communities.
We equip men to give back with purpose, courage, and servant leadership.
- Community service projects and outreach opportunities
- Speaking engagements in schools, churches, and prisons
- Leadership development and personal growth tracks
- Alumni engagement and peer mentorship
- Opportunities to lead in faith, work, and service
