Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—our final authority in all matters of faith and life. It reveals who God is, who we are, and how we are called to live.
God
We believe in one God revealed in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in perfect unity. He is the Creator of all things and the source of all life, love, justice, and redemption.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, both human & Divine. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose again to offer new life to all who believe. Through Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and restored.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all believers and intercedes on our behalf. Empowering us to live transformed lives, leading us into truth, and providing us with the gifts of wisdom, discernment, and eyes to see with love.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works. It brings us into right relationship with God and sets us on a lifelong journey of transformation.
Identity and Purpose
We believe every person is created in the image of God, with inherent value and purpose. Through Christ, we are made new and called to live as His children, servants, and leaders—restored to the life God always intended.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, made up of all believers. We are called to love one another, make disciples, speak the truth in love, and serve the world around us as ambassadors of reconciliation.
Our Mission
Men of Valor is committed to winning men in prison to Jesus Christ and discipling them. Our purpose is to equip them to re-enter society as men of integrity – becoming givers to the community rather than takers.
