MULTIPLY: Giving Back (Matt Byrd)
MULTIPLY: Giving Back (Matt Byrd)
MULTIPLY: Family Impact (Chad Daniels)
MULTIPLY: Family Impact (Chad Daniels)

What does it mean to be a man of God? What does it mean to be a husband and a father following in God’s footsteps? These are the same questions Chad Daniels was asking after turning over his life to Christ. Thanks to Men of Valor, Chad was able to be mentored and discipled by God-fearing men that supported him every step of the way as he grew in his faith. Today, Chad is employed by Men of Valor as an After-Care Counselor and is serving the Lord by discipling the formerly incarcerated. Please prayerfully consider giving to Men of Valor so that we can continue providing hope to the hopeless.

MULTIPLY: Vision (Curt Campbell)
MULTIPLY: Vision (Curt Campbell)

In the words of Curt Campbell, Men of Valor’s Program Director, “…We are crazy excited about what God is going to do.” The simple fact is that God has blessed Men of Valor tremendously and we are thankful for His provisions. Which is why we continue to trust in the Lord courageously. Our heart desires to create a Men of Valor campus that will house the formerly incarcerated so that they can live their lives for Christ and become gainfully employed. Come learn about our vision. To God be His glory!

MULTIPLY: Transformed Lives (Darnell Ford)
MULTIPLY: Transformed Lives (Darnell Ford)

For most of his adult life, Darnell Ford was in and out of prison. The way he describes it, the only time he wasn’t being arrested was when he was already incarcerated. What changed? For Darnell, the answer is simple: “Through Christ, I learned I could make better decisions.” Today Darnell works for Men of Valor and is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to the incarcerated. This is what Men of Valor is doing thanks to your generosity. Please prayerfully consider making a gift so that we can continue bringing hope to the hopeless.

MULTIPLY: Hope In Transition (Sheriff Daron Hall)
MULTIPLY: Hope In Transition (Sheriff Daron Hall)

In his 25 years working in the criminal justice system, Sheriff Daron Hall has learned why the prison recidivism rate remains so high: If no one is at the door to meet an inmate when they are released, no one should be surprised when they come back. But according to Sheriff Hall, Men of Valor is having a profound impact. Find out why he thinks highly of Men of Valor, and please prayerfully consider making a tax-exempt gift so that we can continue bringing hope to the hopeless.

MULTIPLY: Real Friendships (Pete and Allan)
MULTIPLY: Real Friendships (Pete and Allan)

Without mentors, many of the men at Men of Valor would likely not be where they are today. Through a mentoring relationship, men like Allan are learning what trust looks like. It doesn’t happen overnight, but as trust develops, the changes in a man’s life are profound. Here is Pete and Allan’s story.

MULTIPLY: Job Partners (Essex Bargain Hunt)
MULTIPLY: Job Partners (Essex Bargain Hunt)

To understand why we have the highest recidivism rate in the country is to understand that many former inmates are not able to find work, once released. To break this chain, it is imperative that the recently incarcerated receive the proper job training and skills to enter the workforce. Men of Valor is doing precisely this with our job placement partners, through the grace of God. Find out how.

MULTIPLY: Feed My Sheep (Marcus Martin)
MULTIPLY: Feed My Sheep (Marcus Martin)

Marcus Martin was once incarcerated. Today, he is an indispensable staff member of the Men of Valor Ministry and sharing the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ with the incarcerated. For his commitment and service to the ministry for the past 12 years, Marcus was recently awarded the first ever Carl Carlson award; named after the founder of Men of Valor who also came to know the Lord in prison and dedicated his life to sharing the Good News with others. We praise God for the life of our brother in Christ, Marcus.

MULTIPLY: Changed Hearts (Wyndell Voorhies)
MULTIPLY: Changed Hearts (Wyndell Voorhies)

God’s love is often shown best and most profoundly through His people. For Wyndell Voorhies, God’s unconditional love was revealed though Melvin Richardson, a Men of Valor mentor. As Wyndell describes it, ”the love Melvin showed me, helped me learn what I needed to be doing.” Today, Wyndell is out of prison, is a disciple of Jesus Christ, and is having a profound impact on his family, his church, and his community. Praise God! Thank you for partnering with Men of Valor – there are thousands of “Wyndell’s” out there waiting to encounter the love of God.

MULTIPLY: Mentors (Ike and Ed)
MULTIPLY: Mentors (Ike and Ed)

Although Ike and Ed have lived vastly different lives, they have found a common bond thanks to Men of Valor and the Jericho program. As many who are incarcerated, Ike had seldom felt encouraged or loved. As he describes it: “I never felt like I could be of value to anyone else.” Men of Valor mentors provide an invaluable service in showing God’s unconditional love.

MULTIPLY: Love (Anthony Charles)
MULTIPLY: Love (Anthony Charles)

Anthony Charles “A.C.” might have spent his entire life going in and out of prison had he not experienced the overwhelming power of a God who loves him. But it was in prison, after living a life driven by an addiction to drugs and alcohol, that A.C. learned of the Lord’s unconditional love through Men of Valor. There are many other A.C.’s.
